Dana A. Morris
Dana A. Morris was a family court judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 2008 and retired at the end of his term on June 30, 2019.[2][3][4]
Education
Morris received his B.A. in history and anthropology from the University of South Carolina in 1979 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1983.[2]
Career
Before joining the court, Morris practiced law with the firm of Savage, Royall and Sheheen, specializing in family law. He became a partner at the firm and remained there until his election to the Fifth Judicial Circuit in 2008.[2]
