Dana M. Wright is a judge on the Fourth Circuit Court for Washington County in Maryland.[1] She was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley in August 2012, becoming the first female judge on the county’s Circuit Court.[2] She assumed office on August 24, 2012.[3][4] Wright was re-elected to the Fourth Circuit Court in 2014, winning a new term that expires on December 31, 2029.[5][6]

Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014. Wright cross-filed as a Republican and ran unopposed in that primary as well, receiving 49.1 percent of the vote. 
General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [6][7][8]

Wright received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Johns Hopkins University in 1988 and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1992.[3]
