Dana S. Preisse
Dana S. Preisse (Republican Party) was a judge of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division in Ohio. She assumed office on August 16, 2021. She left office on January 13, 2023.
Preisse ran in a special election for judge of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division in Ohio. She did not appear on the ballot for the special general election on November 8, 2022. She advanced from the special Republican primary on May 3, 2022.
Preisse was appointed Governor Mike DeWine (R) in order to fill a vacancy on August 5, 2021.[1]
Biography
Education
Preisse received her B.A. in journalism from the Ohio State University in 1982 and her J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1985.[2]
Career
Before becoming a judge, Preisse was an attorney in private practice for eleven years with a focus on litigation and family law.[2]
