I have always had a passion for nature. Following that passion, I moved to Western Montana to study environmental studies and wildlife biology at the University of Montana. Working on the hantavirus project with deer mice in Drummond and in the Ninepipes Reservoir, in the bio-research lab, and the permaculture herb garden, Big Sky Herbs, I quickly found my career path of pursuing science to solve our 21st century problems.

Recognizing climate change as the overarching issue, I started a climate action student group on campus at UM. With support of our climate group, I wrote and successfully lobbied for a 100% clean electricity resolution in UM's government that showed the University's support for Missoula city/county's 100% clean electricity resolution.

Currently, I coordinate a social justice/climate justice group in Missoula called the Sunrise Movement, work on farms, work on the Sierra Club's equity committee, and volunteer every where that I can.

After talking with the current Montana politicians over the past years, I was disappointed. I realized that we need leaders who prioritize the people and the climate to step up and run for office against the money-corrupt politicians. We are working hard every day to make sure that this PSC seat is taken back to Montanans' interests.
  • 100% clean energy transition
  • Bring back passenger railroad to Montana
  • Promote recycling & compost programs
The Public Service Commission is our first line of defense against injustice by the utility monopolies that control our energy, our water, and ultimately the fate of our land. The current public service commission has allowed the utility companies to make massive profits by hindering personal energy production, and the current PSC has allowed unnecessary pollution on our land. I will not allow this to continue.

This campaign is for the underrepresented voices, those struggling to pay their bills, and the people who are currently being affected by the climate crisis. I am driven by my love for our beautiful state and the passion to deliver for all people. As your Public Service Commissioner, I will fight hard for Montana utility ratepayers every day.

No area affects every Montanans' daily life more than the operations of our public utilities: energy, water, telephone, railroad, 911 service. We must ensure reliable and affordable utility rates to everyone.

Historically, the current Montana Public Service Commission has favored these utility monopolies in their decisions, not considering the climate crisis or public health. When we are dealing with the worst fire seasons, droughts, pollution, and more extreme weather in our state than ever before, it is a necessity to transition to clean, sustainable utilities. As your commissioner, I will keep public health, the ecosystem, democracy, climate, and your rates as top priority.
