What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
My top three priorities would be focusing on living wages, single-payer healthcare, and environmental safety.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I would say social policy would be my most passionate.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
I look up to many activists and leaders but Bernie Sanders, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard wouId be my top three.
Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?
I think a good summarization of my political philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King's speeches, the Riverside Church speech which centers on social justice reform
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Honesty and open-mindedness
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I'm an independent free thinking, honest person.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
I believe the core responsibility of elected officials is to do what is best for their constituents and the world as a whole.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I would like to leave a legacy of someone who never shyed away from standing up to injustice, win or lose.
What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?
9-11, I was ten almost eleven.
