Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Cowan's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Lower Taxes and Less Spending: Career politicians have the tendency to find tricky ways to raise your taxes while telling you they didn't. Daniel won't stand for any tax hikes.
  • Strong National Defense: Daniel believes in President Ronald Reagan’s philosophy of peace through strength.
  • Healthcare Reform: Daniel wants to repeal Obamacare and reform healthcare with free market, patient-centered solutions.
  • Secure Our Borders: Before we do anything else, we must secure the border and enforce our current immigration laws. This is a simple matter of national security.
  • Stand Up For Our Values: Our values are under assault. Now more than ever, we must fight to protect the life of the unborn, stand up for the sanctity of marriage and our freedom to freely practice our faith.
