Daniel Cowan was a 2016 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of Georgia.[1] Cowan was defeated by incumbent Barry Loudermilk in the Republican primary on May 24, 2016.[2]

Incumbent Barry Loudermilk (R) defeated Don Wilson, the only Democratic candidate to file, in the general election on November 8, 2016. Loudermilk defeated Daniel Cowan, Billy Davis, Hayden Collins, and William Llop in the Republican primary on May 24, 2016.[3][2]
