Driscoll (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent North Carolina's 11th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on March 3, 2020.
On December 4, 2024, President-elect Donald Trump (R) announced he would nominate Driscoll to serve as secretary of the Army.[1]
