Daniel E. Logsdon Jr.
Daniel E. Logsdon Jr. is a former member of the Kentucky Public Service Commission. He was appointed by Gov. Steve Beshear (D) in February 2015 to fulfill the remainder of former commissioner Linda K. Breathitt's term. Breathitt resigned from her position in February 2015. Logsdon served as commissioner until June 30, 2017.[1]
Biography
Logsdon served as Gov. Steve Beshear’s deputy chief of staff in 2009 and 2010 and as Assistant Kentucky State Treasurer in 2004, after working in the treasurer’s office since 2000. Logsdon was also a state government affairs representative from 2004 to 2009, and has served as chairman and executive director of the Kentucky Democratic Party since 2010.[2]
