Daniel Huge
Daniel Huge is a former interim State Treasurer in Indiana. He was appointed by Gov. Mike Pence (R) in August 2014 to serve out the remainder of resigned-officeholder Richard Mourdock's unexpired term.[1] Huge's tenure as acting treasurer ended on November 18, 2014, when newly-elected official Republican Kelly Mitchell was sworn in for a four-year term. Mitchell had been elected to formally succeed Mourdock in the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Huge worked as a certified public accountant for three decades. He served as the chief financial officer of the Indiana Finance Authority and the Capital Improvement Board from 2010 to 2013. Huge also served as the director of the Indiana Bond Bank from 2001 to 2010.[1]

Indiana Treasurer (August 2014 - November 2014)
Huge was appointed as interim treasurer in August 2014 to replace Richard Mourdock, who resigned prior to the end of his term to pursue professional opportunities. He served in the position until November 18, 2014, when Mourdock's elected successor, Republican Kelly Mitchell, was sworn into office. Mitchell was elected to a four-year term as treasurer on November 4, 2014.[1]
