Biography
Furlong received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany. He earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.[3] Furlong's professional experience includes working as a law clerk for Judge Joseph R. Glownia and as an attorney in private practice.[4]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 1.1 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbents Donna M. Siwek and Frederick J. Marshall, as well as John J. DelMonte, E. Jeannette Ogden, Dennis E. Ward and Mary Slisz for five open seats.

- have had at least 10 years of in-state law practice;
- be at least 18 years old; and
- be under the age of 70 (retirement at 70 is mandatory).
