|He has been featured on every major news network and interviewed by every major newspaper in Texas and worldwide. In addition, as a guest on Hannity, Fox Business, BBC News, Real America’s News, Newsmax, and many other news outlets, Daniel has been a strong and unapologetic voice for the right of self-government for Texans and the dangers posed by the overreaching and fundamentally broken federal government.
Daniel has been involved in the technology industry in Texas since the mid-1990s. He currently works as a freelance technology consultant for small to medium-sized companies and startups. He also operates Radio Free Texas, a digital music platform focused on Texas music, with his wife, Cara.
In 2005, Daniel founded the Texas Nationalist Movement, an organization dedicated to the political, cultural, and economic independence of Texas. In that time, as the organization’s President, the TNM has grown to become one of the largest political advocacy organizations in Texas and one of the largest independence advocacy organizations in the world.- I am a 'Texas First' candidate.
- I want to secure the border, abolish property taxes, protect our monuments, and put the power of the Governor in check.
- I want to give the people a binding vote on TEXIT.

Campaign website
Miller's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
MAKE TEXAS A FREE & INDEPENDENT NATION AGAIN We will give Texans the opportunity to exercise their rights under Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution. Free and independent state. The first words of the Texas Constitution declare that Texas is a “free and independent state.” It goes on to say that the “perpetuity of the Union depend(s) upon the preservation of the right of local self-government, unimpaired to all the States.” The federal government has failed to live up to its obligations under the US Constitution and tramples our right of self-government daily. In short, Texans are tired of living under 180,000 pages of federal laws, rules, and regulations administered by 2.5 million unelected Washington bureaucrats. Texas taxpayers overpay $103-$160 billion annually into the federal system while burdensome regulations and rampant inflation and debt threaten to destroy the opportunity of prosperity for future generations of Texans. To the federal government, our fundamental God-given rights are up for negotiation and subject to being eliminated at the stroke of a pen by an unaccountable, unelected federal judiciary. It’s long past time that Texans be given an opportunity to decide their own future by exercising our rights under Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution which states: “All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit. The faith of the people of Texas stands pledged to the preservation of a republican form of government, and, subject to this limitation only, they have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient.” For too long, the political establishment in Austin has stolen that right from the people of Texas. It’s time that the people had their say by putting TEXIT to a vote of the people. As your Lieutenant Governor I will:
SECURE THE BORDER We will secure the border. No exceptions. No excuses. Our border with Mexico is in crisis. The dirty secret is that it’s been in a state of crisis for 20 years. Establishment politicians have gotten campaign cash and votes by promising to fix the border crisis but have done little more than waste taxpayer money on elaborate photo ops designed to give the illusion that they are taking action. They have failed. Our current Lieutenant Governor has used “securing the border” as a campaign promise for over a decade. It’s time for promises to become results and take tough action to secure our border once and for all. We need a Lieutenant Governor who is not afraid to stand up for the security of Texans and directly challenge the federal government on the border crisis. As Lieutenant Governor, I will:
As Lieutenant Governor, I will:
ABOLISH THE PROPERTY TAX You own your home. You should never have to pay rent to the government. You own your home. Texans suffer from the excessive property tax burden imposed by government bureaucrats who spend like a drunken sailor. Texans are being taxed out of their homes. This is a travesty. You should never be paying rent to the government. For over 12 years, the current Lieutenant Governor has promised “relief” from the onerous and immoral property tax. Yet, every year our property taxes increase, and hardworking Texans are forced from their homes. The time for talk is over. It’s time to abolish property taxes in Texas. As Lieutenant Governor, I will:
As Lieutenant Governor, I will:
CURTAIL THE GOVERNOR’S EXECUTIVE ORDER AUTHORITY Texas is a constitutional republic, not a dictatorship. The Governor's Executive Order Authority During the COVID-19 outbreak, the Governor used extraordinary executive authority to close down businesses, divide Texans into “essential” and “non-essential” categories, and prevent Texans from attending religious services, all in the name of “following orders” from the federal government. It is now an undeniable fact that the Governor violated the rights of the people of Texas and made draconian public policy decisions based on faulty information and the current Lieutenant Governor followed blindly and silently. This is a disgrace and a shameful blight on the freedom and independence of Texas. As Lieutenant Governor I will:
As Lieutenant Governor I will:
PROTECT THE RIGHT TO LIFE Stand up for Texans who cannot stand up for themselves. We must protect life from conception to death. The only role of government is to protect the liberty and rights of the people. One of those fundamental rights is the right to life, from conception to natural death. As Lieutenant Governor, I will:
Help us protect life. Stand up for Texans who cannot stand up for themselves. RESTORE INTEGRITY IN TEXAS ELECTIONS We will increase transparency and oversight of our elections and end the ceaseless stream of campaign cash from outside of Texas. Texans are concerned about the integrity of our elections. While progressive politicians scream that there is “no problem”, the people of Texas aren’t buying it. The truth is that when it comes to our election system, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. There is no such thing as an election that is too secure. If we are to be a true constitutional republic then the people of Texas must have confidence that their vote counts. As Lieutenant Governor I will:
As Lieutenant Governor I will:
PROTECT THE POWER GRID We will make our electrical grid independent and reliable. No more excuses. The Power Grid Texas was once proud of its independent electrical grid. That is until bureaucrats and special interests got their hands on it in the greediest taxpayer cash grab in recent history. During the massive winter storm in early 2021, 1/2 of Texas’ wind turbines went offline because they froze. Their share of electrical output went from 42 percent to 8 percent in a matter of hours. Four million Texas families went without power and heat for days in dangerous weather conditions resulting in economic damage measured in billions of dollars and 150 deaths. This is unacceptable and leadership in Austin needs to be held accountable for the crisis they created. As Lieutenant Governor, I will:
As Lieutenant Governor, I will: Support the creation of a Grid Security Commission to ensure that out electrical grid is stable, secure, and actually reliable. Pass legislation that will ensure Texans never have to ask permission from the federal government to keep the lights on for Texas families. PROTECT OUR HISTORY & MONUMENTS Our history and monuments are under assault. We must protect our past or we'll have no future. Protect Our History & Monuments For the past several years, the history of our great state has been under attack by those who seek to destroy the cultural foundations of Texas. Their agenda is clear. If they can destroy, blemish, and rewrite our past, they can control our future. While this fight has been raging across Texas, ground-zero has been the Cradle of Texas Liberty – The Alamo. Neo-Marxists want to rewrite and dilute the story of the Battle of the Alamo, thereby effectively erasing it from the minds of future generations. They want to sanitize, federalize, and then globalize The Alamo. As Lieutenant Governor I will: Politics flows downhill from culture. If we allow them to win, we will lose Texas. I will not let that happen.
As Lieutenant Governor I will:
