As a first generation immigrant, self-made business owner, and community leader who has lived the American Dream, I understand service, sacrifice and the importance of helping others. I have seen the harm that Washington’s policies have had on our neighbors here in New York as the owner of one of the largest moving companies in the state. I want to ensure that everyone has the same opportunities that I have had to build a career, raise a family, and achieve their own dreams.
  • Rebuilding the economy The U.S. is now running a nearly $1.4 trillion deficit and a $32.6 trillion debt. As a businessman, you can never run a company the way the U.S. runs their treasury. This is a debt that your children and grandchildren will inherit. There's no easy answer to how to get ourselves completely out of debt but there's places that we can start. We should rescind the unspent COVID-19 money, cut duplicate federal governments and offices, and do a multi-year spending freeze where we hold off on spending any more money than we spent this last year.
  • Immigration- This is a country with a big heart but our current asylum process is broken and the millions of migrants who have come to the U.S. are bankrupting our city and our state. In 2023 alone, New York State is spending $800 million on temporary housing for migrants. We simply cannot afford it the way that it's going. That is why I want to put forward a policy that would halt migrants coming across the border. You want to hire more immigration judges to process asylum claims at a faster speed
  • Crime- we must go back to giving the police the support they need in order to do their job. They are currently being attacked consistently by the community and this needs to end. There are currently 3000 officers retiring and only 600 are in the academy ready to replace them.
China: As a business owner, I have seen the immense strain our supply chains have undergone since COVID. During the height of COVID, we could not build essential military equipment or get basic medicine because of shutdowns around the globe. It's a risk to our national security and quality of life. As a Congressmen, I want to author legislation that would mandate that the government's purchases of essential services like military equipment and medicine have to be made in America.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in New York

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
