Daniel P. Guerin is a judge of the Eighteenth Circuit of Illinois. He was elected in 2010 to fill the vacancy left by Robert Byrne.[1][2] Guerin was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Judges of the Illinois Circuit Court stand for retention after their first full term. To be retained, a judge must receive at least 60 percent of the vote.[3][4] Daniel P. Guerin was retained in the Illinois Eighteenth Circuit Court, Daniel Guerin Retention Election with 79.95 percent of the vote.
