Daniel P. Wilson
Daniel P. Wilson is a former district court judge of District 8A of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1995.[1] He was most recently retained in 2014 for a six-year term.[2] Wilson retired from the court on October 2, 2016.[3]
Biography
Wilson received an associate degree from Indian Hills Community College, a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa in 1974, and a J.D. from the Drake University School of Law in 1976.[1] Wilson held various positions as a clerk during law school. He then worked as a private practice lawyer for 18 years. He also served as an Iowa assistant attorney general.[1]

Wilson was retained to the 8A District Court with 71.0 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]
