Daniel R. Eckstrom is a probate judge for the Lexington County Probate Court in Lexington County, South Carolina.[1] Eckstrom was first elected to the court in 1990.[2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires in 2018.[3]

Education
Eckstrom received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law.[2]
Career
Before he became a judge, Eckstrom served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps and as an anti-terrorism officer. He currently holds the rank of captain in the United States Naval Reserve. Prior to his election to the Lexington County Probate Court, Eckstrom was a special counsel for the law firm of Nexsen, Pruet, Jacobs & Pollard.[2]
