Daniel Rippy is a judge on the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court First Subcircuit in Illinois. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 6, 2020.[1]

Rippy ran for election to the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court First Subcircuit.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 18, 2014, receiving 77.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Cosmo J. Tedone.
General: He defeated Sherri Hale in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 58 percent of the vote. [1][2][3]

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Daniel Rippy as Recommended for election in a 2014 poll.[4]

Education

Rippy graduated from Brother Rice High School and went on to attend the Virginia Military Institute. He earned his J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law.[5]
