I am committed to upholding the principles of the Republican agenda that have been the bedrock of our great party. My vision is simple: Help you! I believe in the power of our community and the strength of our shared values and differences. I want to establish our district back to the leader of individual rights free from government interference, and to build upon the foundations that have made our state strong. The importance of liberty and justice for EVERY legal citizen of this state. I’m not going to be a representative that stands on the sideline with my arms crossed in protest. I am not a disrupter, I want to go and solve problems working with my colleagues promoting Republican policies. I was raised in a little community in upstate South Carolina. Laurens had just enough influence on me to shape me into the man I am today. I have a younger brother and two godly parents. After graduating from Lighthouse Christian Academy, I met the love of my life, Kasey. We moved to Pelzer, South Carolina, in 2013 and fell in love with the area. People in southern Greenville County are similar to those in Laurens. They are quiet, laid back, and know what they want out of life. My wife is a T.D. Bank Commercial loan specialist, and I currently work for ZF Transmission in Gray Court, South Carolina. During this time, we are juggling three boisterous children, Nolan, Connor, and Savannah.
  • Re-position state funds. Shift funds from the surplus to the Rural Infrastructure Fund and add Road Maintenance responsibilities to the Rural Infrastructure Authority.
  • Slow the urban sprawl. Responsible Development. Initialize Common Sense HOA Laws. Saving our wildlife and farmlands. Lower income tax. Bring a prescription drug donation program. Allow pharmacies and medical facilities to accept and dispense donated prescription drugs and supplies to patients who cannot afford them.
  • Support Small Business - Prevent and clean up laws hurting local businesses. Vape Shops, Roofing, Automotive to name a few. Reduce state government and work to increase police presence in southern Greenville County.
Cybersecurity and the right for free speech. I am also passionate about technology and regulating AI. Parents' choice and personal freedom.
Believing Is Seeing: A Physicist Explains How Science Shattered His Atheism and Revealed the Necessity of Faith. - Michael Guillen
Integrity, the ability to bring others to your side. Relationships, Dedication to solve a problem. Open line of communication.
Passionate to help all 40,000 residents in the district and state.
The second major news event that I can remember shaped my desire to be in public office. I remember election officials holding up ballets to determine if it was punched correctly. following the Bush vs Gore Presidential race was exciting and gave me a since that a small-town boy can one day change the nation for the best.
Yes, these veterans that have been in the state legislature for years or decades have the means to push legislation. Having strong and personal relationships helps yours and your constituents get what is needed.
Talking with citizens across District 28 never fails to teach me something new. I recently visited Mr. David Griffith who heads-up PAPA which is a non-profit organization focused on encouraging positive life choices and reducing substance abuse problems in school aged children through the CAN (Change Attitudes Now) clubs program in Greenville county's primary, middle, and high schools in South Carolina. David formally served on the Greenville County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and was chairman of the programs committee. We talked about a program in Wyoming that helps kids in multiple ways. It peeked my interested to say the least. I read up more on the program and discovered that Cody, Wyoming, is home to a unique and successful anti-drug program known as Cody CAN. This program operates on a simple yet powerful idea: recognizing and rewarding kids for making positive choices encourages them to continue making such choices over time. The philosophy of Cody CAN is straightforward.
No, Chief Executive branch only (within the state).
