Daniel Scott was a judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Southern District. He assumed office on September 28, 2006. He left office on December 31, 2020.

Scott was appointed to this position by Republican Governor Matt Blunt in 2006.[1]

Scott received his bachelor's degree from Central Missouri State University in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1980.[1]

Career

Scott worked as an attorney in private practice in Joplin from 1980 until his appointment to the court of appeals in 2006. During this time, he also worked as an assistant county prosecutor and a special prosecutor beginning in 1982.[1]
