Daniel grew up as a county kid, spending most of his time playing in the woods and fields of Aroostook County. His father, a small business owner, and mother, a civic leader, raised Daniel with a strong sense of responsibility toward his community. He has always dedicated his life to brightening the lives of those around him.

He graduated from the University of Maine Orono with a degree in Marketing and Innovation Engineering, and for the first 7 years of his career, he worked to pass initiatives to raise the minimum wage, expand healthcare, and make the political system fairer in both Maine and Pennsylvania.
  • Everyone needs access to quality affordable healthcare.
  • The environment in Maine needs to be protected for future generations.
  • We need to ensure a fair economy for small business owners and workers across the state.
The biggest policy up for debate right now is Our Power. The people of Maine must take control of our own energy production to reduce our reliance on foreign power and fossil fuels. With high energy prices set by corporations with no stake in the local community, Maine needs to take this important step to create a consumer-owned utility.

I will also work to expand access to local food to feed our communities. We need to take action on PFAS, supporting farmers that have been affected by environmental cleanup efforts, we also need to invest in community gardens and local produce growers. Keeping our food systems local improves the environment and the lives of everyone in a community.

Yes I believe that compromise is an integral part of government and policymaking
