Daniel Holcombe Thomas (1906-2000) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.

Thomas was nominated by President Harry Truman on January 29, 1951, to a seat vacated by John McDuffie; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 6, 1951, and received his commission on March 9th. He served as chief judge from 1966 until he assumed senior status on August 25, 1971. He served until his death on April 13, 2000. Thomas was succeeded in this position by William Hand.
