I am running to bring engineering problem solving and business experience to Washington and to assist my colleagues to keep America the land of promise and opportunity based on our Declaration of Independence and on our Constitution. I have 40 years of experience in the energy industry and am a business creator and builder. I look forward to working hard to serve the people of NW Ohio.
  • I am a career leader and not a career politician. We need more business people in Washington.
  • I believe in the American dream and want to help preserve it for future generations. I came from humble beginnings and believe that hard work can change the world.
  • Education is the answer to changing ones opportunities, and this includes all types of education. I will fight hard for choice in education and equal opportunity for all.
Fiscal Responsibility. Energy Independence. Becoming a leader in education in the world. Food security for the USA.
Ronald Reagan was a great leader and one I would like to use as a model.
Not a book but a thought .... Be kind to others and fight like heck to protect the rights of those you represent and those who cannot fight for themselves.
Character Counts. (A great book by Os Guiness by the way.) If one lacks character, they have no standing to speak for or represent anyone.
I have a strong work ethic and have proven myself as a business leader, problem solver and team builder.
Listen to the people to understand and represent their issues.

Work as hard as possible to represent their beliefs and to move America in the direction to sustain those beliefs.

Fiscal responsibility so that we do not bankrupt our nation for our children.
Being part of a Congress that developed a balanced budget.
I remember that something bad happened when President Kennedy was shot. I was young but I could tell it impacted my parents and their friends.
First job out of college was as an Engineer for Toledo Edison's Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station
Hunt for Red October. It was the book that got me hooked on reading. Now I read constantly.
I am a Billy Joel fan so his songs keep popping up.
I come from humble beginnings but my parents taught us that nothing is impossible if you work for it. I continue to work hard to attain my goals in life.
It is the key member of the Federal Government that is closest to the people.
Continuing to be a leader in the world through our strength as a nation as supported by a majority of our people.
Yes, but I do wish the political wrangling for the next term did not start so soon.
I agree that there should be term limits for federal positions.
The number of people that were harmed by the unrelenting Covid shutdowns. While an initial shutdown may have seemed prudent, the extensive shutdowns in most states caused way more harm than good.
A horse walked into a bar. The bartender said, "Hey, why the long face?' Get it .... long face. Hahahaha
Compromise is necessary in all human endeavors, so yes.
We must get control of spending before we even think about raising more money. I would focus on the spending side.
We should use them to bring the light of day to issues but we must not let this work get in the way of the legislative process and responsibilities.
