Daniel Wilensky was a judge for the 4th Circuit Court in Duval County, Florida. He was elected in 2012 and retired from the court on December 31, 2021.[1]

Biography

Education

He received his B.A. degree from the University of South Florida and his J.D. degree from the Nova Southeastern University School of Law.[2][3]

Career

Wilensky interned at the Dade County Public Defender's Office during law school. Upon graduation, he became a law clerk and research aide for Justice James C. Adkins of the Florida Supreme Court. Then, in the early 1980s, he joined the law firm of Lewis, Paul, Isaac & Castillo, P.A. He later became a sole practitioner. In 2006, he was appointed to the circuit court.[2][3]

The general election was canceled. Daniel Wilensky (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.

Wilensky was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4][5]
