Growing up on a family farm in Indiana, Danielle learned the value of hard work and compassion from her parents—a small business owner and a waitress. From helping to run the family farm to volunteering with various organizations in school, Danielle's heart was always drawn to helping others.

After earning a full scholarship, Danielle attended DePauw University, seeking a sense of community. It was during an internship at a summer camp for children with disabilities that Danielle discovered her passion for working with kids and families. With a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University, Danielle began her career at a community mental health center, where she witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by families in poverty and within the school system.

In 2011, Danielle married Jason Bell, a Navy chief, and moved to Virginia Beach, where she continued her work as a clinical therapist while also teaching pottery classes to those in the community. Their journey led them to Georgia in 2015 after Jason’s military retirement, where Danielle embraced the South's charm and set out to make a difference in her new community.

Together with her husband, Danielle enjoys raising their 3 beautiful daughters, Diana, Avery, and Aliya. Danielle is an active member of her local Catholic church.
  • As a dedicated mother of young children, I am intimately familiar with the challenges and aspirations of countless families in our community. My understanding of the daily struggles, hopes, and dreams of parents and children alike uniquely positions me as an empathetic and insightful candidate for the Georgia State House of Representatives. My commitment to nurturing and protecting the future generation reflects not only in my role as a caregiver but also in my passion for advocating policies that prioritize education, healthcare, and community well-being.
  • My background as a social worker equips me with a nuanced understanding of the complex issues affecting individuals and families. I recognize that meaningful change requires more than just legislative action—it demands empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to addressing the underlying social determinants of well-being. As a solutions-focused problem solver, I am dedicated to implementing policies that not only alleviate immediate concerns but also pave the way for long-term, sustainable progress.
  • My experience as a small business owner has instilled in me a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. I understand the vital role that small businesses play in driving economic growth and creating opportunities for communities to thrive. If elected, I will champion policies that foster an environment conducive to small business growth, innovation, and job creation, ensuring that our district remains a vibrant hub of economic activity.
Equitable access to healthcare, including mental health coverage

Education reform, support for public educators
Environmentally conscious policy for sustainability
Sensible gun laws for the safety of our children and school systems

Economy growth and equal opportunity
transparency and honesty, compassion for others, practicality in solution-focused problem solving, ability to listen and work with others despite a difference in perspective, and innovation to come up with new and creative solutions, understanding the needs of the community,
Listen to and be an accurate reflection of the needs of all constituents in the district. Work with others on both sides of the aisle to create policy solutions that will improve the quality of life for my constituents.
I worked at a daycare where I supervised children and acted as a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons in the summer. I worked there all through high school.
Transparency is the best way to ensure accountability. My grandmother always said that if you're acting honorably, you have nothing to hide. I live by her advice.
