Danna Rohleder
Danna Rohleder was the Area 21 representative on the Greenville County School District board of trustees in South Carolina from 2004 to 2018. She resigned August 8, 2018, after moving outside the district.[1]

Rohleder's biography on the Greenville County School District website read as follows:
“ | Danna Rohleder was elected to the School Board of Greenville County as Area 21 representative first in 2004, and re-elected in 2008 and 2012. A retired Greenville County Schools English teacher, she earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English and English Education, respectively, from the University of South Carolina.
She has served on numerous committees and boards during her term in office, including School Board secretary, board member for Communities in Schools, GCS Advocacy Committee member, Board of Directors for Graduate Greenville, the School Board Association Board of Directors for Greenville County (8 years), and is currently serving on the Ad Hoc Committee for Instructional Policy Revision. Some of her past professional leadership responsibilities include officer for Greenville County Teachers of English; School Improvement Council; Speech and Debate Assistant Coach; Warrior Teacher of the Year; Senior Team Leader; Advanced Placement Coordinator; Seeds Reading Volunteer; Vacation Bible School teacher, Sunday School teacher and division director; Greenville County Curriculum Development Committee member, and English Department Head, to name a few. She is a past member of the South Carolina Teachers of English Association and a past school representative for the National Education Association. Mrs. Rohleder has three children who graduated from Greenville County Schools, The University of South Carolina Honors College, the Medical University of South Carolina, as well as Columbia University Law School.[2][3] |

Elections
2016
Six of the 12 seats on the Greenville County School District board of trustees were up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. Area 17 incumbent Joy Grayson filed for re-election and ran unopposed, winning another term on the board. In Area 19, incumbent Debi Bush successfully defended her seat against challengers Myra Gallagher, Charles Winfield, and Monica Wofford. Area 21 incumbent Danna Rohleder filed for re-election and defeated challenger Michael Stewart. Area 23 saw incumbent Glenda Fair file unopposed and gain another term on the board. In Area 25, board incumbent Kenneth Baxter Sr. filed for re-election and faced Michelle Calwile and Justin Stoddard. Calwile succeeded in ousting the incumbent from the board. Area 27 incumbent Crystal O'Connor filed for an additional term on the board and won it, as she was unopposed in her bid. There was no primary.[4][5]

Funding
Rohleder reported $250.00 in contributions and $250.00 in expenditures the South Carolina State Ethics Commission, leaving her campaign with no cash on hand as of October 28, 2016.[6]
The following are the guidelines provided by the South Carolina State Ethics Commission for campaign finance reporting:[7]
Initial report: School board candidates were required to file this report within 10 days of spending or receiving the first $500 of campaign funds. A subsequent report was not required until additional funds were raised.
Pre-election report: This report had to be filed by all candidates, whether or not there was any financial campaign activity. The report had to be filed no later than 15 days, and no earlier than 20 days, prior to the general election. The pre-election report was due on October 24, 2016.
Quarterly report: All candidates with contributions on hand were required to file this report. It was required of all candidates once they had begun to file, whether or not there was financial activity. The fourth quarter campaign finance report was due on October 10, 2016.
Final report: This was due after the campaign account was closed.
