The city of Jacksonville, Florida, held elections for mayor and city council on May 19, 2015. A primary took place on March 24, 2015. Because only one candidate ran in the District 11 primary, its general election was canceled. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 16, 2015. All 19 city council seats were up for election.[1]

In District 11, Danny Becton (R) was unopposed.[2] Incumbent Ray Holt (R) was ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits.[3]
