Danny Ford (b. April 25, 1952) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 80 from 1983 to 2013, serving as State House Minority Floor Leader from 1995-1998 and State House Minority Whip from 2011 to 2013.

Ford has previously served as Director of the Monticello Banking Company, Director of Bank Mount Vernon, Managing Partner with Valley Oaks Limited Liability Company (LLC), and a realtor with Ford Brothers Incorporated.

He is the Director of the Somerset-Pulaski County Board of Realtors, and a member of the Dix River Board of Realtors, Kentucky Auctioneers Association, National Auctioneers Association, Rockcastle County Young Republican Club, Somerset Board of Realtors, and Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce.[1]

In January 2012 Ford announced he would not be seeking re-election.[2]

Ford won re-election to the 80th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. According to official results, Ford received 10,329 votes.[3]

Ford ran unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary election.[4]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Ford was re-elected to the 80th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives with no opposition.[5] He raised $7,873 for his campaign.[6]
