Danny Lau

Danny Lau was an at-large member of the Milpitas Unified Board of Education in California. He was appointed to the board on March 15, 2011, and elected to a two-year term in 2012.[1] He served on the board until his death on March 20, 2017.[2]
Biography
Lau worked in the hi-tech field for over 30 years and was a certified project manager (PMI). He served for 17 years as board member on the nonprofit Milpitas Community Chinese School.[3]

The election in Milpitas Unified featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.
Incumbents Danny Lau and William Foulk ran for re-election against the following six challengers: Russ Bargstadt, Vance Vuong, David Freeman, Demetress Morris, Robert Nunez and Chris Norwood. Lau won his bid for re-election, but Foulk came in fourth. Norwood and Nunez won election to the board.
