Biography

Danny Rappa was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He earned a high school diploma from Alexis I. du Pont High School, a bachelor's degree from Immaculate University in 2011, and a graduate degree from Goldey-Beacom College in 2014. His career experience includes working as a financial planner and general contractor. As of 2024, Rappa was affiliated with ABC Delaware, Delaware State Sportmen's Association, Ducks Unlimited, and Habitat for Humanity.[1]

My name is Danny Rappa and I am a fourth-generation resident of Newport, Delaware, with a rich family legacy in the community. My great- grandfather was instrumental in building many of the homes in Newport and in the Woodcrest neighborhood. My grandfather and father continuing this tradition with our family owned general contracting business, serving the same community and providing work for nearly 7 decades.

Professionally, as a financial advisor, I am dedicated to helping community members achieve financial freedom and transferring wealth to future generations. My commitment extends beyond my professional work and into my civic engagement. I have routinely volunteered with the Delaware Nature Society and Habitat for Humanity, reflecting my dedication to environmental stewardship and community service.

I am committed to fiscal responsibility in government and support a range our causes, including public safety, first responders, job placement for hard-working families, our aging population, educational equity, and addiction recovery. I vow to donate at least 10% of my legislative salary to Delaware non-profits, reinforcing my dedication to supporting local organizations and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

My belief is that providing every citizen with better opportunities to improve their lives will uplift the entire community. My vision is to create a thriving, inclusive environment where every Delawarean can succeed.

Parents are concerned for the welfare of their children playing, or walking on the sidewalk. My intent is to enforce traffic safety so all members in the district can live safely and harmoniously.
