Danny Seaver
Danny Seaver is a member of the Hickory City Council in North Carolina, representing Ward 3.
Seaver ran for re-election to the Hickory City Council to represent Ward 3 in North Carolina. Seaver won in the general election on November 5, 2019.

Seaver previously served on the Hickory Public Schools Board of Education from 1989 to 1997. He also served as vice-chair on the board from 1993 to 1997.[1]
Biography
Seaver earned his B.S. in mathematics and education from Appalachian State University in 1976 and his M.A. in academically gifted children education from Lenoir Rhyne University in 1987. He also earned an AP certification in statistics from the University of Georgia in 2007. Seaver is a retired teacher.[1]
Seaver has served as a board member and past president of the Hickory Kiwanis Club, as a board member and past president of the Bethlehem Lions Club, as a board member of the Western Piedmont Sister Cities Association, and as a board member of the Patterson School Foundation. He is also a member of the National Eagle Scout Association, National League of Cities, and North Carolina League of Municipalities.[1]

Note: Because Nathan Hefner and Daria Jackson tied for second place in the primary after they each received 16 votes, a coin toss was used to decide the race. Hefner won the coin toss, meaning he advanced to the general election to face incumbent Danny Seaver.[2]
