Danya Ariel Dayson
Danya Ariel Dayson is an associate judge in the Domestic Relations and Neglect calendar of cases on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.[1] She was sworn into her seat on April 30, 2012.[2]
Education
Born in New York City, Dayson soon moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she was raised. She attended Appalachian State University, earning a B.A. in political science and Russian/Eastern European studies. She went on to earn a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1998.[3]

Dayson was nominated to the District of Columbia Superior Court by President Barack Obama. She was confirmed by the Senate on November 18, 2011.[4]
