Danyelle Taylor is a judge for the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana. Taylor defeated Thomas P. Anzelmo, Jr. in the 2014 election. Her term will expire on December 31, 2024.[1][2][3]

Taylor ran for election to the 24th Judicial District.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 33.8 percent of the vote. She competed against Thomas P. Anzelmo, Jr., Frank Buck, and John Sudderth.
General: She defeated Thomas P. Anzelmo, Jr. in the general election on December 6, 2014, receiving 57 percent of the vote. [1][4][5]

Education

Taylor received a B.A. in government from Nicholls State University in 1991 and a J.D. degree from the Loyola University New Orleans Law School in 1996.[6]

Career

Before becoming a judge, Taylor worked as an attorney in private practice, specializing in family, criminal, and personal injury law.[6]
