Dar'shun Kendrick
Dar'shun Kendrick (Democratic Party) is a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 95. She assumed office on January 9, 2023. Her current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Kendrick (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 95. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Dar'Shun Kendrick was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and lives in Lithonia, Georgia.[1] Kendrick graduated from Towers High School in 2000. She earned a B.A. in communications and political science from Oglethorpe University in 2004, a J.D. from the University of Georgia in 2007, and an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University in 2011. Kendrick's career experience includes working as a securities attorney and investment adviser representative with Kendrick Advisory & Advocacy Group, LLC; a public speaker, execution specialist, and business consultant with Darshun Speaks, LLC; and a non-public arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.[1][2]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Dar'shun Nicole Kendrick was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]

Kendrick ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 93. Kendrick defeated Glen Williams and Dexter Dawston in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Christine Hoffer ran unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[10][11][12] Kendrick ran unopposed in the general election.[13]
