Basilio Villarreal was defeated by Daria Babineaux in the race for the Place 4 seat. Place 4 incumbent Daniel Garcia defeated fellow board member Ruben Klein for the Place 5 seat. Garcia opted to run against Klein rather than seek re-election to the Place 4 seat.[1]
