Darien & Wood Dale City Electrical Aggregation Questions, 2 (April 2011)
Two City Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the cities of Darien and Wood Dale which are in DuPage County.
This measure was defeated in Darien
This measure was approved in Wood Dale
- YES 1,138 (51.1%)
- NO 1,089 (48.9%)[1]
These two measures asked residents if they wanted to allow their city officials to collectively buy electricity so as to sell it to residents and businesses at a lower rate than before. Residents and businesses could opt out of the program if they wanted to.[2]
