I am originally from Houston, Texas, but my husband and I moved to Wise River, Montana in the summer of 2019 when he retired after 27 years in law enforcement. We have two grown children who still live in Texas, and we have one grandchild. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, along with my husband and our son. I proudly support our military, law enforcement, correctional officers, and all first responders. I am a small business owner, running a consulting business for the last 20 years, assisting small brokerage firms with compliance and regulatory matters. I have strong leadership skills, and I have been called to serve in many ways over the past three decades. From volunteering in parent groups that supported the education of our children, to holding several positions within the Catholic Daughters of the Americas organization at my previous church in Spring, Texas. Currently, I serve as the First Vice President of the Wise River Community Foundation. My most recent accomplishment has been to graduate college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Concentration in Finance in July 2022, Cum Laude. And I went on to complete a Master’s Degree in the same field, graduating Cum Laude in December 2023. For fun, I have hiked and summited Charleston Peak, NV (11,916 ft); as well as Guadalupe Peak, TX (8,751 ft), twice. I have completed over a dozen half-marathons, and I finished the Marine Corps Marathon in 2016. I have also complete
  • I am an advocate for veteran's issues and their families
  • I will defend our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms
  • I fully support families and their right to choose the educational path that best fits their values and beliefs
I consider myself a law-and-order candidate, fully supporting our local and state law enforcement and correctional officers, as well as all first responders. I believe in a secure border, and I will hold the line to ensure that Montana will never become a sanctuary state or have sanctuary cities.
My father, because he taught me there are two sides to every coin, and that you must hear the other side before jumping too quickly to make a decision. He taught me to listen to what others have to say, and balance the information against my own beliefs. This lesson has been a positive tool in my business life.
Honesty, Integrity, and a willingness to have a thoughtful conversation about the issues.
I have a natural leadership ability, with strong skills in communication (verbal and written), and I have a mind for details.
The Shuttle Challenger explosion. I was in the Marine Corps and I remember watching the event as it happened on television.
I worked at The Corn Dog Hut when I was 16, then later I worked at Jack in the Box for over a year while in high school.
I love all of the Harry Potter books because they demonstrate how anyone can overcome obstacles.
I believe it can be helpful but it should not be the only qualification or experience.
Absolutely. As a small business owner for the past 20 years, I have built relationships with clients and competitors, vendors and regulators. Having healthy dialog about issues important to voters is how a legislative body can accomplish the goals that matter most to the people they serve.
I want to increase the penalties for assault on law enforcement and corrections officers; and I want to create an enhancement for criminal street gang members who are convicted of crimes
Veterans' Affairs, Local Government, Law and Justice, Revenue, and Education
I strongly support financial transparency and government accountability. I also believe in less government involvement our lives.
