Darlene Harris (Democratic Party) was a member of the Pittsburgh City Council in Pennsylvania, representing District 1. Harris assumed office in 2006. Harris left office in 2020.
Harris (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Pittsburgh City Council to represent District 1 in Pennsylvania. Harris lost in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2019.
Biography
Harris' professional experience includes working for Senator Len Bodack and as a dental assistant.[1]

The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, held elections for city council on November 3, 2015. A primary took place on May 19, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 11, 2015. Five of the nine city council seats were up for election. In the primary election for District 1, incumbent Darlene Harris faced Randy Zotter and Bobby Wilson. Harris was the winner.[2] She defeated Dave Schuilenburg in the general election.[3][4]
