Successful businessman, former City Councilman and GOP Party leader who has represented CD32 in four Texas State GOP Conventions. A solution-finder fighting for conservative values.

-America-first constitutionalist -Previously served as City Councilman in the nation’s 50th largest city of Arlington, TX -GOP Precinct Chair for eight years -Delegate to four Texas GOP State Conventions. -Former Election Judge -Former Press Secretary, gubernatorial campaign -Successful business owner for 25 years -Married for 21 years, with four children and four grandchildren -Pro-life Christian -Passionate Second Amendment advocate

  • Protect our southern border from the current invasion!
  • Control inflation by controlling runaway federal spending!
  • We MUST protect our elections from hackers and cheaters!
President Reagan stood firm on conservative principles while still being able to work cordially with liberals.
I'm an excellent listener, and we desperately need more elected representatives that are LISTENING to their constituents.
Darrell Day slowly built a consensus for the U.S. House of Representatives to rein in out-of-control government spending. His hard work saved our nation and our Social Security fund from going bankrupt.
I remember hearing of President Kennedy's assassination while sitting in class.
When I was 16, I started working at Six Flags (on the Log Flume Ride) for three summers.
"Good To Great" is a business book - directly applicable to the U.S. Congress - that analyzed the traits of successful organizations, and how that deviated from unsuccessful organizations.
Facing the voters every two years, U.S. Representatives must faithfully represent their constituents.
It's more important to have firmly held beliefs, grounded in the U.S. Constitution.
A $33 trillion deficit threatens our economy, our Social Security program and our national security.
With some notable exceptions, most U.S. Congressmen who are fighting for the people are the relative newcomers. Because of that, I support term limits.
There are core beliefs that can't be broken, but you can compromise on the details.
I support zero-based budgeting, whereby every federal government agency must come before the House to justify their existence and their budget. Right now, every federal agency gets an increase on their previous year's budget, WHETHER OR NOT THAT AGENCY SERVES ANY USEFUL FUNCTION FOR THE PUBLIC.
The House should pursue violations of the public trust.
Four of the six CD32 candidates from 2022, two City Council members, 20 community leaders and 80 GOP Precinct Chairs have endorsed.

Campaign website

Day’s campaign website stated the following:

STANDING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
Our men and women in blue play an integral role in keeping our communities safe. We must provide them with the resources and support they need to protect our neighborhoods.

STOP WASTEFUL SPENDING
The pain you feel from high prices for groceries, healthcare and gas comes from out-of-control government spending. A $33 trillion national debt not only causes inflation, but also imperils our economy and imperils Social Security. I will bring fiscal discipline and common sense to Washington, D.C.

ENERGY SECURITY
A robust and diversified energy sector is vital for both national security and economic prosperity. I am committed to advancing policies that promote domestic energy production to bring down gas prices at the pump.

SECURING THE BORDER
Our wide-open border is in crisis, leading to criminal gangs and drugs pouring into Texas. I will work to address the immigration challenges by upholding the integrity of our border and ensuring a safe and orderly immigration process.

MADE IN THE USA
I am dedicated to revitalizing American manufacturing and promoting the “Made in the USA” ethos. Creating a strong domestic manufacturing base will produce more jobs for your family, while strengthening our economy and building a brighter future for all Americans.

UPHOLDING FOUNDING PRINCIPLES
Upholding our nation’s founding principles is something I do not take lightly. As an advocate for our constitutional rights, I believe the First and Second Amendments are the backbone of preserving our individual liberties.

PRO-LIFE
I value the sanctity of human life from conception to end. I will defend the rights and dignity of the unborn, promote a culture of life, and ensure that every voice, including the most vulnerable, is heard and respected.

EDUCATIONAL FREEDOM
Every child has the right to receive a quality education, and that should not be limited by their family’s tax bracket. Empowering parents with educational options for their children will create educational freedom for each student.[3]

Campaign website

Day's campaign website stated the following:

Soaring crime rates, hordes of illegal immigrants streaming across our border, and sky-high gas prices is the America brought to us by liberals like Colin Allred. Soft-on-the-border Democrats have failed.

Do you want safe streets in your neighborhood? Do you want to stop the flood of illegal immigrants into Texas? Do you want a return to President Trump’s AMERICA-FIRST policy?

On day 1, will begin working to secure funding to finish President Trump’s border wall. We are a nation of LEGAL immigrants!

  • Firm adherent of the U.S. Constitution
  • Strong supporter of the Second Amendment
  • Strong fiscal conservative who will fight to bring federal spending under control. Our great nation can’t continue to spend its way to astounding debt. Eventually, the bill will come due with catastrophic consequences.
  • Supports American energy independence championed by President Trump, finishing the Keystone Pipeline and encouraging off-shore drilling.
  • Supports School Choice, and opposes CRT being taught in our schools under any name. The GOP is the party of parents!

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry wrote of the difference in governing philosophies between Republicans and Democrats: “There's the vision common in blue states, where the state plays an increasing role in the lives of its citizens. In these states, taxes are on the rise. Pension programs are out of control and jobs are leaving by the truckloads.

“And then there's the vision common to red state America where the freedom of the individual comes first, and the reach of government is limited. In these states, taxes are low, spending is under control, jobs are on the rise and opportunity is being sought far and wide.”

Conservative, PRO-AMERICA policies are right for our country.[3]
