|In 1983 I joined the US Army and became an Infantry Soldier. I decided that you needed a better training to qualify for job replacement. In 1986 I changed from Infantry to a Bradley Systems Mechanic. I was stationed in the United States, Germany, and Kuwait City, Kuwait. I retired from the Army in 2003. My wife Diana who was serving in the US Navy got stationed in Maine as a Seer instructor. During this time, I became an overseas contractor. I was a contractor in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and even did a summer tour in Antarctica. When my wife retired from the Navy, we both decided that Washington State would be the best place to retire.
