As a Native American tribal leader, I have spent my life fighting to tell the stories of the forgotten and marginalized and building bridges to get things done. I will do the same for you in Congress. I will fight for bold climate change solutions, defense of our public lands and a complete overhaul of our immigration system.
  • I will fight for bold climate change solutions.
  • I will fight to defend our public lands.
  • I will fight to overhaul our broken immigration system.
As a Native American, protecting our Mother Earth has always been a priority. I support the Green New Deal and will fight to implement parts of it as soon as possible, our planet depends on it.

I believe that immigration reform is something we can actually work with Republicans and get something done. my opponent made it clear that she does not believe a "Blue Card" immigration program would work. In 2019, several Democrats including Independent Bernie Sanders (I-VT), joined Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA.) and Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA.) in introducing the bill to Congress.

Under the Agricultural Worker Program Act, farmworkers who have worked in agriculture for at least 100 days in the past two years may earn "Blue Card" status that allows them to continue to legally work in the United States. Farmworkers who maintain Blue Card status for the next three -five years-depending on hours worked in agriculture would be eligible to adjust to lawful permanent residence (Green Card).

I support this legislation and while it's only a start, I believe it's a start that will work.
I believe that honesty and integrity are the most important attribute. Regardless of political issues, we need to elect someone that will always do the right thing, whether it's popular or not.
A completely independent redistricting committee.
As a Native American, our country has very rarely heard a voice like mine. Also, my ability to build bridges is important today. Many of the problems we face are not Republican problems or Democrat problems, they are American problems. I will absolutely put people before partisan bickering and work with others to get things done.
I believe some experience matters and while I haven't held a political office before, as a Native American tribal leader, I have experience working with people who do not share my point of view and still manage to get things done.
I believe that two things will define us, our action on climate change and our divisiveness in our country.
I support term limits. Politics has become more about re-election than getting things done.
