Daryl E. Trawick is a judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Trawick won re-election for judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court outright after the general election on November 3, 2020, was canceled.

Education

Trawick, a New Jersey native, received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Miami in 1981 and his J.D. degree from Howard University in 1984.[1]

Career

Trawick served in the U.S. Air Force as a Judge Advocate from 1985 to 1989. Then, from 1989 to 2006, he served in the Air Force Reserve, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Trawick's civilian career began in 1990, when he became an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida. He was the chief of special prosecutions from 1994 to 1997. He then became a judge of the Miami-Dade County Court, where he served in the domestic violence division until his appointment to the circuit court in 2000.[1][2]
