Campaign themes

2017

Kipnis' Facebook website highlighted the following issues:

Term Limits

  • I propose the following term limits for all NJ elected offices at the State, County & Local Levels: 2 4-year terms, 3 3-year terms, and 4 2-year terms. All 5 year term offices convert to 4 year terms.

Water

  • I support the creation of an NJ income tax credit for the purchase and installation of reverse-osmosis sink filters in homes and businesses- and will encourage production of the filters in NJ.

Roads And Bridges

  • I will work to improve response times for repair of our roads and bridges that need it the most, and to control repair costs in the process.

Initiative & Referendum

  • I support the introduction of Statewide ballot initiative and referendum to New Jersey to empower the public in our lawmaking process.

#NoGasTax

  • I vehemently oppose the 2016 #GasTax, which was one of the largest broad-based tax increases in NJ history. I will seek to repeal and replace it with a more responsible plan to fund infrastructure.[7]
