David Heine (Republican Party) (also known as Dave) is a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 85. He assumed office on November 9, 2016. His current term ends on November 4, 2026.

Heine (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives to represent District 85. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Heine graduated from New Haven High School in 1975 and subsequently attended and graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in accounting in 1979. After this, he attended Ohio State University's Executive Management Training. In his career, he became owner of Heine Farms and served as vice president and corporate officer for Do It Best Corp.[1]

Heine has served on a variety of boards and chairs in his community, including serving as vice chairman of Lutheran Foundation Board of Directors, serving as a board member for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, and serving as chairman of the School Board of Central Lutheran School in New Haven.[1]
