Dave Hunt
Dave Hunt (b. November 10, 1967) is a former Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 40 from 2003 until his retirement in 2013.
While in office, Hunt served as House Democratic Leader, Majority Leader and Speaker of the House.[1]
Hunt previously served as District Director for U.S. Congressman Brian Baird and Congresswoman Darlene Hooley. He held the position of Field Director for Oregonians for Quality Healthcare. Hunt was also the Vice Chair of the Oregon City School Board.
Biography
Hunt attended Columbia University. His professional experience includes working as the Executive Director of the Columbia River Channel Coalition and the Association of Pacific Ports.[2]

Hunt won re-election to the 40th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition but was challenged by Deborah Gerritzen in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[3]
