Dave Schmidt ran for re-election to the Washington State Senate District 44 seat in 2010. He defeated Ryan Ferrie and Lillian Kaufer in the August 17 primary. He was defeated by Democrat Steve Hobbs in the November 2, 2010, general election.[1]
