I am running as in Independent because I believe that people want a Representative that represents THEIR interest and NOT a party. As an Iowan, we know that we do an excellent job thinking for ourselves! This is the time to let both parties know that we want and need a Representative that has their best interest in mind with all legislation, and can't be whipped into voting along party lines.
It is my hope that you will make the decision best for you when you vote in Fall 2020, and if I am blessed enough to be your choice, we will show that Iowa is that place that can vote for candidates that represent them and we are not party bound.- Integrity. Honesty. Committment.
- Your choice for Your voice!
- Independent thinking, not party lines.
Healthcare - There should never be a choice to either attend a doctor or save money. We must continue to have healthcare that is accessible for everyone. That doesn't mean that it would be free, rather we must find unique ways to have access to healthcare. For example, what if you could access healthcare by volunteering a certain number of hours. We must not just think outside the box, we must eliminate the box.
Politics should not be a lifelong career. I am entering politics because I believe I have life experiences that are different than others and will help me represent my constituents.
