Dave White was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 3-Position 2 of the Washington House of Representatives.

Campaign themes

White's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[1]

Castle Doctrine

  • Excerpt: "The citizens are finding that when they need police protection it is not available in a timely manner and this puts the protection of the family home, in the hands of the owner. It is time that we pass a castle doctrine bill to protect homeowners who are forced to defend their family when their home is invaded."

Jobs

  • Excerpt: "If elected I would like to head a committee to increase the Washington State infrastructure. This not only helps out our country and state, but it increases the amount of jobs Washington has. Which, let’s be honest, is the real issue the Washington State Voter is concerned about."

Motorcycle Helmet Law

  • Excerpt: "I would co-sponsor a bill repealing the law so that freedom of choice is restored to the operator of the vehicle as it should be."
