Dave Williams (Democratic Party) was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 60. He assumed office on January 1, 2019. He left office on January 1, 2023.

Williams (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 60. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Biography

Assemblymember Williams was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2018. As of December 2019, he serves on the Agriculture, Appropriations, Commerce, and Transportation committees, as well as the Education Appropriations subcommittee. Williams was born and raised in Iowa. Williams began his career as an engineer at John Deere. Williams has been a self-employed executive coach and small business consultant. He has also been an adjunct instructor at the University of Northern Iowa’s College of Business Administration.[1]

Williams has served as vice president of the Cedar Falls Board of Education, chair of the Cedar Falls Utilities Board of Trustees, and chair of the Cedar Falls Historic Preservation Commission.[2]
