Davette Blalock
Davette Blalock is a former member of the Nashville Metro Council in Tennessee, representing District 27. She was elected to the council in 2011.[1] She did not seek re-election in 2019.
Blalock was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 53 of the Tennessee House of Representatives.
Biography
Blalock's professional experience includes owning a real estate business, Blalock Services, and a Farmer's Insurance Agency.[1]

The city of Nashville, Tennessee, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and metro council on August 6, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 21, 2015. All 41 metro council seats—including the office of vice mayor—were up for election. In District 27, incumbent Davette Blalock defeated Clement Ledbetter.[6][7]
