David A. Morris

David A. Morris is a judge for the Suffolk County District Court, serving the 5th District, Town of Islip, in New York. He took office in 2012 and his current term expires in 2017.[1] Morris was defeated in his bid for the New York Supreme Court 10th Judicial District in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Education
Morris earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1995. He earned his J.D. from Queens College of the City, University of New York in 1998.[4]
Career
Morris served as an assistant county attorney from 1998 until 2003. In 2003 Morris opened his own private practice. He served as an acting justice for the Patchoque Village Court in 2009 and 2010. He joined the Suffolk County District Court in 2012.[1][4]

Delligatti, Kathy G. Bergmann, Sandra L. Sgroi (incumbent), Gail Prudenti (incumbent) and Michele M. Woodard (incumbent) for six open seats.
