David A. Ritchie is the chief judge of the 14th Judicial District, Division E, in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[1] He was elected to this position on November 15, 2003.[2][3] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[4][5]

Ritchie earned a bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1989, going on to receive his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law in 1992.[6]

Ritchie has worked as a lawyer in Lake Charles, Louisiana.[7]
